ADULT CHRISTIAN FORMATION


Bible Study
(each Sunday, September through May, 09:15 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.)


October through May: Ongoing biblical study of a book in the Bible yet to be determined.

* No biblical expertise necessary.
* Please feel free to bring your Bible.
* Continental breakfast (fruit, cereal, pastry & coffee, milk & juice) is served at 9:00 a.m. and children are welcome for breakfast.
* Childcare is available.

FaithWalk: The Journey from Membership to Discipleship
A comprehensive program designed to give you the foundations and tools you need for the journey of discipleship.  Each of the three classes focuses on a different aspect of the Christian life, but they need not be taken sequentially.  Come be a part of this ongoing process.  Come and discover there is more to church than membership.

Women, Wine and the Word
Women’s Study Group meets every Thursday from 11:30a.m. – 12:45 in the Conference Room.  Our new fall book study will be Dear Heart, Come Home written by Joyce Rupp.  Following the study many people from the group go out for an informal lunch.  Everyone is welcome to join this wonderful group.


Beers, Burgers and the Bible
A men's fellowship group that meets the 4th Monday of every month in the upper room at the Elgin Pub House (EPH) located at 219 E. Chicago St (located 1/2 a block west of the church). Come for 1/2 price burger night, an array of beer choices (or a libation of your choice), and a discussion of people, places, and events of the Bible.
