Our Missions Ministry promotes and guides the mission activities of the church. This body provides the congregation with awareness of mission concerns both locally and worldwide. Many activities are both on-going and periodic.

The Soup Kettle
Available Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m.. Volunteers are always needed for both shifts and may choose between two shifts: The first shift (4:00pm - 6:00pm) involves food preparation and setting tables. The second shift (5:15pm - 6:45pm) serves of meals and assists with clean-up activities. Volunteers are especially needed for the first shift. On average, 70 people are served by the Soup Kettle each week. It is a great ministry we hope to continue.

The Food Pantry offers space to house the All Peoples Interfaith Food Pantry. Its hours of operation are 9:30am - 11:30am weekdays. A referral from an agency is needed to receive supplies.

The Mission Grant Committee provides grants to groups and projects that focus on hunger, shelter, or human relations. Applications are available from the church office and are due annually by November 1. Special Offerings, such as the recent offering for One Great Hour of Sharing, received over $2,000 from our congregation.
